A fascinating edition printed on hand-made paper with the fables based on Aesop's model finely illustrated with the drawings and woodcut borders of Duilio Cambellotti. 4to (340 x 262mm). Polychrome woodcuts and 20 full-page plates, monogrammed and protected by tissue paper. Elegant editorial silk applied on cardboard, the front cover illustrated with stylized animals and trees (without case and dust jacket, some wear at extremities, silk unstitched at lower edge).
