Each volume with title with an engraved view of the Doge's Palace, 203 plates, many of which folding, and 15 portraits of the Doges (some foxing and browning, few small tears, a large tear on plate CXLVIII without loss, some unbound pages connected to plate CLXXI). First three volumes in contemporary half calf decorated in gilt over burgundy percalline covers and marbled blue edges; vol. IV in darker half calf over marbled paper plates (minimal wear).
