The first ten books are translated by Guarino Veronese, the following by Gregorio Tifernate. Folio (312 x 210mm). Title with large woodcut vignette depicting the author with his disciples, decorated initials with black background (title and some other leaves with marginal stains, occasional light browning, small hole in the upper margin of title and second leaf). Contemporary vellum, later manuscript title on spine, speckled edges (some wear, heavier on the spine, a little bowed and stained). Provenance: some early annotations.
